Take the quiz: Newt or Schrute

I got 6O% correct, and I've never seen The Office. I got numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 wrong.

60% here. It's enlightening that even I, a close follower of both the American version of The Office and of the current Republican candidates, have a hard time distinguishing between the over-the-top portrayal of Schrute in an American sitcom and the now-second-place GOP candidate for President and Leader of the Free World. Sheesh.

Ok, I feel like killing the joke for everyone...

When he was 11-years-old, he took on City Hall in an attempt to build a zoo from scratch in South Central Pennsylvania.

His favorite childhood game was curling up into a ball and playing dead on the sidewalk. [picture of Newt around 3 or 4 years old]

In all seriousness, who the hell cares what Newt did when he was child. What single person can say they weren't goofy as all hell when they were so young?

He fantasized about ditching the drudgery of the workplace to spend a year in the Amazon, staring at sloths.

Full quote excerpted here:
I've always wanted to cross the Owen Stanley Range in New Guinea…I would love to go and collect dinosaur fossils for a while. Probably in Montana or northern Arizona. I would really love to spend six months to a year in the Amazon basin, just being able to spend the day watching tree sloths.
Is that really a comment worth criticizing?

There's a quote which comes from an excerpt on a debate that T-rex was a meat eater:
"I believe he was a predator because I saw 'Jurassic Park' and he ate a lawyer and it wasn't a dead lawyer."
Humor! Watch the debate for original context.

Newt says a lot of dumb ****, would have a better punch to actually choose things worth criticizing.

Dangit, Dessi. Here you come bringing skepticism to the Politics forum. Newt, for all his faults, seems like a much better guy after watching (some) of this video. I wonder now if he actually believes half the things he says, which he must say, to be relevant in the GOP.

I got a perfect score: 0%! I guess I don't watch The Office enough. . . or the test was designed by finding items that seem like they belong to the other person.

That is disturbing. I didn't do so well. I don't watch the show much, but one episode that sticks out is when during CPR training, Schrute cut the face off the dummy and put it on ala Hanibal Lector. Can you see Newt doing that?
