In light of Robert coming back, I figured it's time to update the list.

The following is a list of missing persons/murder cases that Sylvia Browne has been involved in. It is put together through the collaborative efforts of Robert Lancaster, EeneyMinnieMoe, myself and several others.

24) Lindsay Wells (Missing persons profile) (Brother Ryan was on the same episode as Shawn Hornbeck's family. She told him she was dead and dumped in a culvert and that it would be a big lead for the police. Still missing.)
25) Sharon Jones (Missing persons profile) (Sister Stephanie went on in 2002 and Sylvia told her it was a military man she had picked up. Still missing.)
26) Tammie Smith (Woman with a substance abuse problem was found dismembered in the Missouri River. A serial killer was suspected because there were 9 other women killed and dumped in the river under similar circumstances. Sylvia told Tammie's sisters Donna and Brenda she was killed by a serial killer. The murder has never been solved.) (News link.)
27) Second Lt. Jason Henderson (Man went on a boating trip alone and never came back. His mother went on Montel and Sylvia told her he knocked himself out accidentally. Browne claimed, "One of those goofy things". Still missing)

32) Wendy Hudakoc (Vanished without a trace, no one ever charged, mother Shelley told the usual nonsense but this time Browne described a vague location of the body. Body never found, girl never heard of again, no one charged.)
33) Jacqueline Elaine Nix (Missing persons profile.)(Mother and best friend appeared and got a name and a vague description. Killer still at large.)

I still get the feeling there were even more and that the information was posted and then forgotten or that I didn't even bother adding it to the list since it was an "unknown".

It still feels as though there are a good deal of names missing...
 
I meant JREF board members, including yourself and myself. But specifically, Robert has a fair amount of clout in contacting families for SSB (before he had to take a break) and Kelly (of Project Jason) since she may be contact with that family due from organization with missing children, and her dislike of psychic exploiting families. (She knew/knows some of the families from the Montel threads.)

I think if anyone would be successful in getting a positive response it maybe them.

She was right about one thing: She told my husband he would marry a girl with almond-shaped eyes. That's me.

Unfortunately, when I asked her if my husband, who was just a good friend at the time, and I would ever get together, she said no. In fact, she said something very adamant like, "No, NO! I know him! No, he's not the one for you." (We've been married now for 11 years.)

Of course, if I knew about Sylvia Browne Accuracy Irony (SBAI) the way I do know, which is that if she says something isn't going to happen, it probably is, and vice versa, I would have taken "No, NO! I know him! He's not the one for you!" as a definite and encouraging YES.

But odds are she has to be right about some things. Even someone who is really bad at guessing has to occasionally be right about something. :)

Yeah sooner or later she'll be right about one of these missing persons cases, then we will never hear the end of it. Since no believer will care how many times she was wrong.

Hi Ryan,

Welcome to the forum. Can you tell us a little more about your experience? What was your impression? Was Browne's information useful? I started this thread, and hope you're willing to share your story.

My sympathies to you and your family.

She correctly predicted the death of Pope John Paul II in her annual predictions.

Of course, he was very old and very frail.

In missing persons cases, I'm sure the only "hits" she's made are high probability things that most everyone assumes. (For example, that an abducted child missing for more than 6 months is probably dead. That murder victims are usually buried in an unmarked, shallow grave. That the cause of death has something to do with the head or chest. And so on.)

She relies on the fact that most of these cases will probably never be solved so she can't be proven wrong. Of course, the fact that they're never solved is, as QG points out, very strong evidence that she has not helped to solve them!

In the year this site has been open to the public, I have made that invitation multiple times on this site, as well as in Sylvia Browne-friendly web forums, and in replies to dozens of people who have emailed me and accused me of ignoring "all the cases she got right."
