Hey, everyone! I created an event for this Saturday called Support Weiner Day. On this day, I'm hoping that everyone will tweet a photo of themselves in a jock strap in support of Anthony Weiner, with the hope that we can, in future, either agree or disagree with politicians based on their beliefs and policies rather than their sex lives.

Here's the description, in case you don't have a Facebook:

From midnight to midnight on Saturday, tweet a photo of yourself in a jock strap (not condoning anything pornographic - please make sure you're thoroughly covered) to Support Weiner. To make sure you're included in this (hopefully epic) trend, be sure to use the tag #supportweiner

If you don't feel comfortable wearing just a jock strap, don't worry! Wear it over your clothes, hide your face, make your idiot friend pose instead.

The story:

Anthony Weiner is receiving backlash after tweeting a photo of himself in his undies to a college girl. If you agree that his policy decisions have nothing to do with his sexual decisions, join us and Support Weiner on Saturday, and PLEASE, spread this event far and wide. Let's get as much Weiner support as we possibly can.

P.S. All you underage folks - you'd better darn well cover yourselves thoroughly!

Seriously, though - I think if a lot of people participate and get creative, this could turn out to be a really fun series of photos. 41 attending so far, and the event has only been posted for an hour.
 
Why didn't you start a day to support Congressman Christopher Lee?
 
May your efforts be helpful in convincing Weiner not to resign. He can be a poster boy in Republican attack ads in 2012 for all Democrat candidates.
