stupid word question

I have been trying this for a while--how do you get an X-bar symbol for a mean?
I looked in symbols, but nothing.
Is there a particular set I should check?

Use the formula editor of Word, which isn't half bad. Nothing compared to Tex, butr good enough for simple things.

The title was ambiguous, I think you meant "Stupid Word, Question", when it appears you said "Stupid question about word". There are no stupid questions about word.
