Yes, you read that right. Mobyseven has, um.... "disappeared". Thankfully, before he went away, I made him he decided to leave the Stundie finals for August in my hands. Since this is my first time running the Stundie finals I will point out that any problems you may encounter are entirely the fault of Lisa Simpson.

There are some good 'uns this month, but I also had to leave a few out due to disappearing post syndrome. Ironically, posts were disappearing at non-truther sites, such as MSNBC. So, remember: screenshot for safety!

IMPORTANT: The voting this month will be for 10 days only! It will start as soon as I've added the poll. Anyone who responds to this thread before I've added the poll gets a free Ice-cream from Gravy on their next visit to Johnston Atoll.

So without further delay, may I present Teh Stundies!

No, not only sheep dont believe me. Sheep who know teh same info that I do, and come to different conclusions, are sheep. Prove that Interpol know what I know re 911, and you will have proved that they are sheep.

[Too much of "The Right Stuff"?]

LUCUS said:
The ignorance with TC sometimes goes above and far beyond the call...

-4-

Nominated by Sabrina

[The X-Files: A documentary.]

Bill Boshears said:
Bill Boshears, host of the radio program SciZone, explained to the crowd that the most important stories would not always make it to the mainstream media.

"I remember hearing some of my stories reported on TV for the first time," said Boshears. "It stopped me in my tracks, a little program called The X-Files.'"

-5-

Nominated by Gravy and Belz...

[Rev91, Space cadet.]

Revolutionary91 said:
People who really believe man went to the moon are deranged.

The space shuttle has never gone further than 400 miles up. When it did, they beat a hasty retreat due to the radiation.

[Magic explosives.]

bonitati1 said:
you are wrong. explosives do just that...explode. There would be no eveidence. you would see no extra explosives or wires..or anything. Cant you see that is why even believing that there is no conspiracy means that that is a conspiracy.

-7-

Nominated by Crungy

[On controlled demolitions.]

Johnnyclueless said:
Bin Laden didn't plan 9/11. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed did.

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed could not have planned the controlled demolition of Bldg. 7 though, could he?

[Who invented teh intertubes?]

discobee said:
Ah don't worry about it, everythings in place, they didn't plan for the internet so they didn't plan for where we are right now. So cheer up, we may only be a couple of months away from Armageddon but by God we're informed.

-9-

Nominated by Par

[Par... How could you?]

Constitutional_Patriot said:
Bear in mind that Par has admitted to be working for a FBI Counter-Intelligence Program.

-10-

Nominated by Brainache, maccy & defaultdotxbe

[Galileo was locked up for what?!?!]

Alex Jones said:
When Galileo said that the world was round and not flat, he was locked up for the last few years of his life for saying it. But a few years after his death, it went from being widely accepted it was flat to being widely accepted it was round. And so I'm saying the world is round and I'm saying 9/11 is an inside job and I'm showing that the official story is a fraud, a flat Earth theory, and I know I'm going to be vindicated.

-11-

Nominated by Mobyseven

[On the technicalities of bullhorning.]

Mark Dice said:
So, today's fun lesson: Bullhorning from your car is a moving violation!

-12-

Nominated by David James

[Hot Coffee Culprit.]

galileo said:
The smoke from the hot coffee is the source of the smoke seen coming from WTC 7, NOT a fire.

-13-

Nominated by DogTown

[Pop cans and I-Beams.]

Blue_Jay33 said:
Also ALL the South Tower steel failing in 56 minutes from impact in a total global collapse, thats just impossible.

As for people saying the impact did it, remember the plane was Almunium.

It's like taking a pop can and hurling it a building I beam, nothing happens to the I beam.

-14-

Nominated by tacodaemon

[Scientific method: Popper would be proud.]

Kim Petersen said:
Science has been a point of contention among people in the 9-11 debate. In science, if one peg of a theory can be knocked out, then the theory should be abandoned.

-15-

Nominated by Horatius

[The sole use of thermate.]

seabhcan said:
Steven Jones' discovery of sulphate inside hardened iron droplets (micro spheres) is definite physical evidence.

These droplets are spherical - so they solidified in freefall. They contain chemical traces of thermate - a substance only used in demolition. It has no other possible function and there is no other explanation for these chemicals to be in the iron.

-16-

Nominated by ref

[The art of rational debate.]

Paul Joseph Watson said:
For the adults on this board who are interested in rational conversation and debate, don't worry we'll be banning all the trolls shortly. They'll have to find something else to do as they sit in their parent's basement hiding from their own screaming conscience and self-loathing.

-17-

Nominated by Wartrac

[High speed debris drop?]

Michal said:
And … yes I think there was no plane hitting the Pentagon that day. There might be a plane flying by and dropping some debris to set it all up, but not hitting it.

-18-

Nominated by Civilized Worm

[YouTube: The ultimate science.]

blubonnet said:
You tube's documentation, film, visable for evaluation, is all that is needed to study something.

-19-

Nominated by Par

[Logik hurtz teh brainz.]

TerryUK said:
Why don't you try to make 'reasonable' arguments Par, instead of being preoccupied by P, Q, and this or that fallacy?

[Secret TV messages.]

Besides, if you've seen other threads from the spring, you'll know that I believe the show HEROES is actually trying to communicate with the truth movement -- telling us that we can stop the next attack, but we must act quickly.

You've posted a poll, but I see no evidence of this pole you're talking about...

Do I get an ice-cream?

No, I was talking about Kitty. Kitty is Polish. Therefore, the thread has a pole in it.

If Kitty is Polish, then the thread would have a Pole in it, not a pole.

I like ice-cream.

I had to vote for lup because I have a special place in my heart for those who believe that fictional TV shows/movies/books are helping them prove their arguments.

Stop picking on your Tyrant Stundie Master!!!!1!!11!eleventy!

It's not fair! You should be quivering in your boots at my mere presence.

However, I can only think of one way that the Aussie flag in you signature can be flying...

It's a very white pole, though.

I still can't decide who to vote for, they're all too good...

Wow. This time it's a hard decision - but my favorite is Look-Up
for being so wrapped in CT-Thinking that he can't even switch off
while watching entertaining fairytales...

You know, if you have to tell people to quiver, you still haven't got the "dreaded dictator" thing quite right yet.

Those are real quotes from real people??

They're real quotes. Whether they're real people is still up for debate :)

Alex Jones should win but I voted for blubonnet. Because I hate her.

Because I'm in a Wittgenstein mood today:

Ludwig with the one-handed piano playing brother said:
6.422
The first thought in setting up an ethical law of the form "thou shalt . . ." is: And what if I do not do it? But it is clear that ethics has nothing to do with punishment and reward in the ordinary sense. This question as to the consequences of an action must therefore be irrelevant. At least thse consequences will not be events. For there must be something right in that formulation of the qustion. There must be some sort of ethical reward and ethical punishment, but this must lie in the action itself.

(And this is clear also that the reward must be something acceptable, and the punishment something unacceptable.)
Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus 6.422 - emphasis mine

I take this to mean that blubonnet is her own punishment.

Alex Jones. For the ludicrous combination of hubris and utter ignorance.

Yeah, even though my nomination was a different one, I still voted for that one because of the sheer CT insanity of it all. I will note however that there are TWO nominations this month in which TV fiction was mistaken for reporting of Teh Troof.
