SLT Editorial Board Endorsement.

The conservative Salt Lake Tribune editorial board has given its endorsement to Barack Obama in what they titled "A Simple Choice". The board endorsed Bush the last 2 elections. The owner, William Dean Singleton has, on a previous occaision, referred to Obama as Osama Bin Laden.

That's a very sensible editorial -- apart from their understandable fixation on Romney, I share most of their opinion. I would add outrage at McCain continuing to throw labels like "socialist" and "palling around with terrorists" in an irresponsible fashion...

If I'm not mistaken, Utah is the state most strongly supporting McCain, with RealClearPolitics showing a 62 to 26 advantage, and nobody bothering to poll further... only Oklahoma approaches that. Surprising to see the Salt Lake Tribune going so strongly against this trend.

With the exception of Arizona where both McCain and I live Utah is the top one for him I believe.
