Did anyone happen to attend the Skeptics Society event this past weekend? Jennifer Oulette, from Washington DC, well known for her blog Cocktail Party Physics, authored a new book, The Physics of the Buffyverse, all about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the TV show, and uh, physics.
I was hoping to see some members of the JREF forum there, but, unlike the last lecture, this one was certainly not sold out - in fact it was almost 1/3 empty, which is rare for skeptics events. A few photos for your perusal:
