I had a wonderful time at TAM meeting people to talk 'smart' with.
Looking for any group within an hour of South Lake Tahoe (the little city at the south side of the Lake).

It is a loooong time between TAMs even if you count a .5.

Anybody out there????
 
I was at Heavenly in April and met a forum member on my way to my flight out of Reno. Not sure which ski areas I'll hit next year.
 
I am Grass Valley every so often to visit the parentals..... Maybe we can get something going in between......
 
Grass Valley is only two hours away. I run down to Placerville periodically (not on weekends!)
 
Do you know of any like minded people getting together for drinks and intelligent (before the drinks) conversation in the area?
 
I want to start a Drinking Skeptically meetup in Sacramento area, but that is still a drive for you....
 
Just found there is a group in Reno, about 1 3/4 hours from me.... I guess I could combine doctor's visits and shopping with intelligent conversation:)

I was waiting until I got paid and I was going to start a Sacramento-Area skeptics meetup through meetup.com, and just organize it through there. If you know anyone who you think might be interested let them know.....Maybe we can get our first meetup in late July early August....

And if there is a demand we can get something going up the hill for lorriedjn.
