Hey guys, some of the Denver Skeptics are starting SkeptiCamp. SkeptiCamp has been started to spread participant based critical thinking conferences around the world. Join the community so you can meet other folks which you can learn from and teach. Help create a thinking community. This is a successful way to hold a conference, as shown by the very popular Barcamp. Come join us or start spreading SkeptiCamps. Anyone is welcome at a camp as long as you participate.

Check out the website hosted by barcamp.

Setup your own at http://www.barcamp.org/SkeptiCamp

Guys, I understand there will be a projector and computer loaded with PowerPoint available. Is this correct? Also, will a PA system be available?

I'll have Apple Keynote and Open Office on my MacBook, both of which should be able to open most PowerPoint documents. I suspect that at least one other will bring Windows with Office on a notebook.

Yes on the PA system. The most recent details on the venue setup are here:

For those of you who personally know Dumb All Over, you'll know how wild and cool it is that he has agreed to do a presentation.
