About SINCHON RI

http://uk.geocities.com/sinchonri/

"Sinchon is the place where U.S. imperialist aggressors committed unprecedented mass killings of civilians during the last Korean war.

"In 52 days after they occupied Sinchon county when the Korean People's Army made a temporary strategic retreat, they brutally killed more than 35,380 civilians or one fourth of its population.

"Men, woman, children, the old, and even babies were murdred in cold blood by the US Imperialists at Sinchon. The US imperialists killed mothers and children by locking them in a storehouse then dousing them with petrol and throwing in burning straw. Some of the most subhuman and bestial methods of killing people were used by the Yankee imperialists at Sinchon ri.

"A member of the Women's International Democratic Federation fact finding delegation to Korea in 1951 remarked that the US imperialists outdid the Nazis in savagery. Preserved at the museum are tombs of 5,605 patriots, 400 mothers and 102 children murdered by U.S. imperialist aggressors.

"[...] Kim Jong Il, Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, described the Sinchon Museum as an important place to inform the world people of the brutal crimes committed by U.S. imperialism against the Koreans during the last Korean War and educate the party members, working people, servicemen, students and schoolchildren in class consciousness.

"Since 1998 the museum has had 2.25 million visitors. It is visited by Koreans from all walks of life and overseas friends of the DPRK"

From KCNA:

US CHARGED WITH WAR CRIMES
[...] The international joint justice team of the Pyongyang international tribunal on U.S. crimes in Korea announced its verdict today. According to the verdict, the international joint justice team considered that all the criminal acts committed by the United States in Korea from 1945 to 2003 are grave violations of the un charter, the universal declaration of human rights, the charter and the principles of the international military tribunal of nuremberg, the codes on crimes against human peace and security, the 1949 Geneva Conventions and other international laws and regulations and principles, and held that the U.S. government should bear full responsibility for them.

The verdict reads:
1.The U.S. government and the other accused mentioned in the indictment are guilty of the charges leveled by the prosecution and detailed in the indictment submitted to the tribunal.
2.The U.S. government must make an official apology for all its criminal acts in Korea, and make due compensation for physical, mental and material losses inflicted upon the Korean people.
3.The U.S. must find out all those involved in planning, preparation, organization, instruction, execution and backing of the crimes against the Korean people, and sentence them to criminal punishment.
4.The U.S. must enact a relevant law for it to assume full responsibility for its crimes on the Korean Peninsula, and establish a special institution in congress and administration with the mandate to investigate and address this issue.
5.The U.S. government must immediately abandon its hostile policy towards the DPRK, put an end to its military threat against it, sign a non-aggression treaty with it, and settle the issue of peace on the Korean peninsula in a peaceful way through the DPRK-U.S. talks.
6.The U.S. must immediately pull its troops and all nuclear weapons from the south of Korea, and end its political pressure, economic sanctions and blockade, and psychological warfare against the DPRK.
7.The U.S. government must refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of Korea, contrary to the will of the Korean people to reunify the country by the Korean nation itself in a peaceful way, true to the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
This verdict has been reached on the basis of objective and fair principles of setting up the tribunal and its procedures and the U.S. government has a legal and moral obligation to take practical measures in this regard.

I suppose you want "proof" of the Holocaust as well?
Angst-ridden teenaged hate-filled Yankee warmongerer.

I hereby apologize for Kim Jong IL and his loss of mental capacities. Now get rid of the nukes and stop acting like fools or we'll do it again.:p

What does Kim Jong Il personally have to with the American tyranny at Sinchon Ri?

From a geocities website. What's wrong, couldn't find any "proof" on Hometown AOL?

Oh, and the links are no good. Must be that ol' Yankee imperialism at work again.

Rather pre-emptively defensive of you to fling trite propagnadistic insults in response to a request for evidence. Why the snarls? And is that really the best you can do?

I never get tired of reading your stuff, Huz-man. Keep fighting the good fight - comrade.

Dude, you wanted an apology for mental loss, and right now you've got no greater example of it than that moron

From a geocities website.

Far more credibility than the Bush regime, who fabricated evidence
to justify going to war with Iraq; it is moreover far more credible a
source than the CIA as well, who had admitedly started various
"disinformation" campaigns.

But of course, you will ignore all contrary evidence. How
unsurprising.

The... links... don't... work.

Yeah, I can really dig your concept of credible. At least the CIA website doesn't have bandwidth restrictions.

All those ugly realities aside, please carry on. This is gold.

A laughable substitute for actual argumentation.

You offer dead links, and I'm the debate-impaired one? Now that's just too precious. Can you find links that work, or must we accept your word as we would the word of Stalin (i.e., at gunpoint)?

Apart from that, you're actually doing very well. Please continue, this is fascinating.

Huzington said:
The links do not work at this moment; big deal. Just wait; they'll
work soon.

....Wow, just like rationed healthcare and a good ol' fashioned bread line! Now I see the appeal. Waiting in line is FUN!

Almost as much fun as asking a straight question half a dozen times before getting a straight response! Boy, you've got functional communism down cold, dude. You da man.

Another one of your absurd substitutes for argumentation?

The website is from the UK.

The website is from the UK.

Yes, but the argument is straight from your dear, dear heart. Oh, I could just hug you, you're so cute. How long should I expect to wait? OOOPS! I forgot, comrade Stalin doesn't like too many questions.

I'll just wait here meekly until someone like you tells me what to think.

I tried to license some commie logo's and images and stuff when the big failure hit. My thinking was that it was so retro it would be great advertising material. Unfortunately, since all the commie countries never signed onto any international copyright agreements, all that cool stuff (marching workers, etc) is public domain. Pity.

Some of the imagery was cool, the problem is (was) that it is ultimately boring and repetitive. Insistant, you know? It's not art, exactly, anymore than a campaign for a product is. Socialist "art" is more "socialist illustration". Art needs diversity to be anything other than banal. Government "approved" art is the greatest danger to any fasist regime, whether commie or nazi, since it provides a window into the heart of that regime. In the case of NK you see the expected banality and insistance coupled with a very sincere brutality. Art, generally, does not lie.

Purely on the basis of the "creative" works that they are responsible for, the repressive communist/socialist/"peoples" republics are non-starters in the race for long term success.

Another sure sign of rot is a monomaniacal focus on one idea or one person. You can see that with images of Hitler or Che or Lenin. On the surface there is some attraction. On one viewing there is some attraction. But here, as with many things, familiarity breeds contempt, and rightly so.

Put it this way: A retrospective of the art of advertising for a product over, say, 50 years, would be more engrossing than the art of NK since the "art" of NK could be epitomized with one image.

Put simply, for simple minds, NK has commited the ultimate sin: They are boring.

Hmm... 35,000 phantom deaths attributed to U.S. forces in Korea vs 47,000,000 real deaths directly attributed to the two monsters Lenin and Stalin in his avatar.
