This is such a pet peeve of mine. One should not have to highlight text in order to read it!! I also dislike when people have white text on black wallpaper. I don't know if they think they're being clever, I think they're being annoying.

Seeing as i refused to highlight the text or change the browser to not display the background image all i could read was:

Apparently the writer decided to give up their crusade against good eyesight because the new location of the blog has a much better color scheme

It could always be because the blog was moved and lives at http://www.wherewire.com/leathern/ now. The main page of the old site does look different, too. The white background in the archive-sections just seems to have gone missing.

Yes, it's ridiculous. I have seen pages that I literally could not read. and not because I am nearly illiterate. (sp)
