Watching the show the other night (my wife likes it, so I'm obliged to watch lest I never watch the Simpsons again), and saw a plug for Michael Shermer.
One of the characters has breast cancer and was in the doctor's waiting room. There was another woman there played by real-life breast cancer survivor, and author of "God Said, Ha", Julia Sweeney. Sweeney played, ironically, a nun who was reading Shermer's "How We Believe". I found it an amusing that a secular Humanist was playing a nun and managed to sneak in a humanist book.
