Presentation Summary:

Kitty Mervine shares with us her insights as an alien abduction specialist. *Kitty has recently been researching the Hill archival material at the University of New Hampshire and shares with us what happened to Betty and Barney Hill after their abduction. *Alien abduction, and the aftermath, in general will also be covered. *

Presenter Bio:

Kitty Mervine is a professional artist and teacher.*Her artwork has appeared in shows and galleries in*both the US and Europe.* Kitty is currently in charge of investigations for Granite State Skeptics <www.granitestateskeptics.org> and has lectured on aliens and UFOs.* For the past six years she has served as an UFO/Alien expert on many web sites, answering questions using her back-up team of experts.*She runs the web site badalien.org, which is geared toward people who believe that they have been abducted by aliens. Badalien.org*offers alternative explanations for the abduction experience and a place where abductees can share their experiences without the fear of being ridiculed.

Central New York Skeptics (CNY Skeptics) is a community organization dedicated to the promotion of science and reason, the investigation of paranormal and fringe-science claims, and the improvement of standards for science education and critical-thinking skills.

I had to look for Dewitt on the map. It is near Syracuse. I was hoping it would be closer to Buffalo, which would be an easier journey for me. Ah, well.

The topic looks like an interesting one. The Hills' tale (actually, as I understand, there are several tales, some of which became more elaborate over time) is widely regarded as one of the BEST cases of alien abduction.
