It's been known for a very long time just how many different branches, subsidiaries and out-right front groups the "church" of Scientology has, many of which fall outwith their "religious cloaking" i.e. are wholly secular and therefore not immune to attack (not that the "church" should be either). Quite a few leaks have provided hard evidence of this in the past year.

But now it's actually proven across the board, to what I would think is a legally actionable standard. With that in mind, I hope something comes of it.

Have a look.

sez it's overloaded, it does.

Well some of the time anyway.

2. Why is this file important? Because it shows the intimate connection between Church of Scientology and its front groups which are used for recruitment. Scientology denies the connection while publishing internal documents showing it specifically uses its members to staff its front groups for the purpose of recruitment.

How would this be "legally actionable"? Is there a law against having front groups feeding your religious arm potential converts? If so, are people filing legal actions against front groups like Salvation Army soup kitchens and the Christian Children's Fund?

Most people know that the Salvation Army and the Christian Children's Fund are front groups for, errrm, Christianity.

How many people do know that the CCHR or Narconon are front groups for the Church of Scientology? And that what they want is your money (all of it and then some) and not for charitable causes?

I'm still not clear how it would be "actionable," unless the action you're talking about is educating people.
