Police captured a suspect in a shooting at a California religious college that resulted in "multiple fatalities" Monday, an Oakland police spokeswoman said.

Ironically, the feds swooped in on Oaksterdam University today. Today's tragic turn of events makes it even more obvious (to anyone who isn't a politician) that perhaps this is not the best use of the resources of law enforcement in Oakland.

Didn't they more or less do that when there were some killings at an Amish school a couple of years back?

I seem to remember our Shirl saying something about the fact that the Amish hid themselves away from wider society, rather than spreading god's word, meant that the dead little girls were hellbound.
