Palin has never participated in a national primary election. If she thinks that all the other candidates are going to step aside quietly and let her ascend to the top, she is living in a fool's paradise.

Easily. Obama is shaping up to be a pretty effective president, and another four years of him will not destroy the country. You may not agree with all his policies, but, frankly, he's doing a much more effective job of governance than any president since Reagan.

Seeing as how Obama has actually improved the god-awful, worst-since-the-Great-Depression economy he inherited, there's no reason to think he wouldn't do the same in a second term.

When I saw the title I thought maybe she had finally gone totally insane and was claiming a talking snake told her to run for president.

Technically she belongs to a Pentecostal church. They are quite often fundamentalist, but include practices like talking in tongues, using snakes during worship, self-mutilation and flaggelation, stigmata and other "charismatic" features. These are sometimes used within the rubric of another christian faith - there are Baptist pentecostalists and Roman Catholics pentecostalists, for example, as well as their own separate denominations, such as Church of Christ.

Well, I guess that I have much more faith in Obama than you do. I think that Obama is the best person to pick up the pieces from the post-Bush destruction.

However, I do think that the best thing to happen to Obama when he runs for re-election is to run against Palin; because Palin is so lazy, so greedy, so lying, and so much of a nut that running against her would make things quite easy for the Obama campaign.

As for the cult you refer to, I think that has something to do with her relationship with this Christian minister from Africa (sorry, I do not recall his name) who speaks in tounges and uses some elements of witchcraft in his practice. There are some good 'YouTube' videos about it.
