Sally Morgan Star Psychic is genuine because she says so.
"I want to be tested, I am the real deal." This is a quote from Psychic to Princess Diana for four years Sally Morgan. In fairness though she wanted to be tested by British minor celebs. British minor celebs who only know the word deep because it is used to describe pizza topping.
"I want to be tested, I am the real deal."
She is mocking. Get her.

I watched some of her show for the first time last night.

She waddled her stuff for Bez, Eggsy & Maggot, Victoria Harvey and Phil Tufnell.

Tough, critical audience indeed!

According to e-mails received to the Challenge account, Sally Morgan is claiming that she applied for the Challenge. So far, I have been unable to verify it as the individual who wrote in said that Morgan made the claim directly to her.

Contrary to what the e-mail claims, Sally Morgan has not applied for the Challenge.

Can someone open the window? All of Morgan's hot air is really heating the room up.

She may have perfected the kindly Essex "wise woman" act, but she scares the bejeezus out of me. I will keep an eye out for any further challenge-related claims.

She (or her 'people') will probably claim that someone in the JREF is afraid of testing her, so they purposely 'lost' the e-mail.

In which case, maybe she should keep sending it, until a response is finally sent. After all, even if she 'doesn't need the money' (Standard quote for the people who seem to have these powers, but not apply), she could claim the cache of beating Randi and the JREF at their own game. That in itself, should be motivation enough, don't you think?

Apologies for being off topic but I'm curious:

Do we have any UK based group offering the equivalent of the Randi challenge?

(but for less money of course)

This must have been said, but why didn't she tell Princess Diana to keep away from Paris?

Shortly after the Peoples' Princess neglected to put on her seat belt and was killed in a minor road accident I did an extensive Internet search on what had been predicted for the Royals that day. Best I found was someone who had predicted a "bad hair day" for Charles. I sent an e-mail to the British Association of Pyschics (or some such) asking why. They never replied. Sniff.

Undoubtedly there are a lot more predictions now.

There is a very specific Challenge for psychics through the Skeptic Organisation, but preliminary tests for the JREF Challenge can potentially be performed by associates in the UK as well.

...I *knew* that someone would write them...
:D

Thanks for that.

Having seen the Morgan show and her repeatedly stating that she wants to be tested, it struck me that it's par for the course for these types to make such statements yet never back them up.

I wonder if rather than waiting for them to come forward (which they won't), confronting them publicly with their own statements might force an attempt by taking a well thought through but easy to administer on the spot challenge to them. Maybe asking the 10 questions on the Skeptic Organisation test. All done on camera of course, if possible in conjunction with an established TV production company. At the least some good Bad Psychic/You Tube debunking moments could be had as they wriggle.

Just a thought...

They would simply say that there was negative energy, or that they felt no rapport with the person asking the questions, or that their powers 'don't work that way'.

She can say that she meant that she wanted to be tested 'on camera' which is what has happened. The camera does lie however.

Unfortunately she has not stated (and I doubt ever will state) that she wants to be tested by JREF or in any controlled experiment, for the very fact that she is fake! After all she's making loads of money off it now, so why would she put a stop to her gravy train?
