Rush Limbaugh will be off the air for the next month while he does a cushy rehab gig. I'm not sure we all understand the impact of this.
After all, Mr. Limbaugh is the forefront of the vast right wing conspiracy. He is Roger Ailes assassin of the airwaves. He is the forefront of the assault of all that is good and right (meaning Hillary Clinton and her wing of the democratic party).
If Rush is off the air for a month, will this be a second spring for the american socialist? Will the message be finally get out without the daily 3 hour onslaught distorting it? Will Howard Dean get a new boogeyman to name drop on the campaign trail? Will SpinSanity have to find someone else who isn't in the mainstream news media to spend half their time correcting? Will FAIR declare that their mission is basically over?
Seriously, much of the power attributed to Limbaugh will shown to be vapor by his monthlong absence from the airwaves. My only hope is that Walter E. Williams gets to guest host his show and spread the enlightening truth about economics and freedom to Rush's mostly conservative listeners.
