Rather strange piece written for an art installation. Anyway, I was curious about the name, so I googled it. Found this:

Woa. The musician is into some weird stuff:
"Rod contributes granular synthesis among other sonic alchemy to the duo's sound. His main focus is on the impact of specific audio material on the human psyche. He is responsible for much of the complex, multi-dimensional sonic structures that envelope the listener. He is also very active in global scientific projects such as the US Government's High Frequency Active Auroral Research Project, better known as HAARP."
"F.Y.I. - Dr. Patrick Flanagan has perfected the Mark XI and Thinkman Model 50 neurophones. It is possible to download taped information directly into long term memory. The U.S. Government will not recognize his work even though he has made a deaf man hear for them, and the CIA utilizes this system daily." (something he wrote in the liner notes of the Waveform Transmission disc.
