It is refreshing to finally find somebody who claims to be able to heal near-sightedness of far-sightedness, because these are fairly easy to measure objectively.

It would be interesting to know if he has actually done this before (Oh, well, we know he has not done it before!)

What was the affidavits and media coverage about?

Remie, please let us know what the media presence consists of and if the affidavits possess any value.

For now, we have to form our picture of Mr. Tobolson e.g. via the correspondence with NTS.

From the link:
"[...]I sent to you 28-32 mostly hand writtin terstomonials letters written from Nurses; doctor's; and people from all walks of life discribeing exactly what happened when I tried to help them through the "Power of Prayer"[...]."
Ohmyghod! A cornucopia of spelling (and other) errors in almost every sentence-is there some sort of rule that says you will lose your psychic abilities if you progress past grade school?
I, too, am interested in seeing what sort of media presence was involved here, and I'm not impressed by the fact that he disappeared the last time he was asked for specific details.

He also appears, briefly, at Tampa Bay Skeptics (near the bottom, letters to the editor). Not really any better than NTS. Other than that, Google knows nothing of him.

From his track record, it appears that mr. Tobolson will stop the correspondence when he is asked to be specific.

No, but entry to CT, Psychic and Astrology Skools is denied to people who do.

Correcting near- and far-sightedness is by itself not supernatural. (Depending on its cause of course) it is possible to do it with a lot of correct practice.

Often with a little "laying on of hands," one can induce a relaxation response that temporaily relieves some of the contributing muscle tension. The individual will then report an improvement in vision. It's only temporary.
So the test needs to show a permenant change as in bye bye spectacles.

I'm not really prepared to argue this; particularly in this thread. But, "No it's not." :D

From Remie's post in Challenge Applications: "More information will be posted regarding this claim as it becomes available."
Considering this person's past history, maybe "as" should be changed to "if".
