Repair a worm/alcan.a infected file

Hello.

My antivirus software identified an infected file with worm/alcan.a (my other antivirus software calls it Win32.alcan.a)

Is there any way to repair the file and make it usable.

My AVG and ZoneAlarm antivirus seems to give me only a single option, delete it!

Any other software can repair the file ?

I'm tired, so will look into this more tomorrow. But...

It is a worm, not a virus. A worm doesn't infect other executable files. Deleting it shouldn't be an issue.

I'll check more tomorrow. Too...tired...
