Reflexology for Babies, anyone?

I have a 9 mo. old son and am constantly bombarded with junk mail for baby products. I recently got a flier for Huggies diapers that always includes some age-appropriate activities for one's baby.

This month's issue had a section on foot reflexology for your baby! They list three zones: The Stuffy-Uppy Release (sinuses), The Gleeful Pants & Giggles (lungs), and the Cranky-Baby Relief (tummy).

They also offer a link to an article that "helps explain how reflexology has been around for thousands of years".

Now I know my little boy LOVES getting foot-rubs, but I seriously doubt it's because I'm stimulating his "Gleeful Pants & Giggle Zone" :)

Just out of curiosity, how do the junk mailers know you have a baby?

I ask because I never get any junk mail for child care.

Thread called on account of no adorable baby pictures!

ps. I also got tons of "baby mail" after my son was born! The free samples were nice, but the rest of it went by way of the circular file. Especially those "life insurance for your baby" solicitations! Ugh!

The interesting part of the "stuffiness" cure is that infants do not have well-formed paranasal sinuses, especially the frontal and ethmoid sinuses which are usually the areas that are most problematic.

That's really interesting to know!

As for the baby picture request, you NEVER have to ask me twice:

Here he is wearing an England stripe (my husband is English):

All the smart people love footies (foot rubs for the term deficient!!)!!!!

He looks cool to me!!!

What a cutie!! I just love to see happy, clean babies ... well, as clean as we can keep 'em, anyway!

My boy is 6 now. He's still my sweetie but he no longer has those nummy little baby feets.
