Masturbation 'cuts cancer risk'

Men could reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer through regular masturbation, researchers suggest.

They say cancer-causing chemicals could build up in the prostate if men do not ejaculate regularly.

And they say sexual intercourse may not have the same protective effect because of the possibility of contracting a sexually transmitted infection, which could increase men's cancer risk.
A preventative measure that should prove popular!

Ejaculation makes me feel like I'm dying or something, it's a horrible feeling and a waste of precious energy. I feel as if I'm doing something wrong. That's why I use taoist techniques to control my sexual energy. Eventually it might allow the awakening of Kundalini - or thus it is told. ;)

The trouble is that your taoist control of sexual urges will lead you down the path of a cancerous prostate.

I'll take reduced visual acuity and fuzzy hands over cancer anyday

There's a lot of 'could' word in the news article. Not very convincing to me. Maybe then I'll reconsider my practice when they have some results that show a clear cause-and-effect link.. I wonder if there's any research done on the subject of alternate approaches dealing with sexual energy and prostate cancer or other positive / negative effects, whatever they might be - these techniques are supposedly pretty old anyway (thousands of years perhaps?).

I'd appreciate any interesting information you might have. :)

With age I meant that there has been plenty of time to do experiments on the subject. :)
