I'm told all Bluetooth adapters are not the same, and I can well believe it. I've had troubles with a cheap-and-cheerful one, which failed to maintain a decent connection between my mobile phone and its management software (but had no problems linking through the OS), though another adapter managed the task with ease. I believe signal strength can be an issue.
Can anyone fill me in on what to look for in a Bluetooth dongle? I don't mind paying a few quid extra for a decent one. Unfortunately, buying one identical to the decent adapter I already have is not an option, because it's too bloomin' old - I'd need to look in antique shops instead of computer stores. That's progress, I guess...
