So do I. If he's not under US jurisdiction, what jurisdiction is he under? What the hell does the US Military think they are going to get from Hicks 16 months after imprisionment? He certainly couldn't provide any current intelligence. Unless they charge him, why not release him to the Australian system....it's not like Australia is a hostile country. They let the American (sorry can't remember his name) who was caught go to the justice system in his country. Not exactly a great way to treat the citizen of an ally.
 
Good Point Belinda. This guy is an idiot, but he was an idiot fighting for the govt of Afghanistan...not Bin Laden. He should be charged with something or deported back here, He is our citizen and should be our problem. At the moment he is a "non person" he has been abducted by the US army and is being held without due process. It stinks.
