Anyone who was at the first Reason Rally (the largest gathering of the secular movement worldwide, ever) in Washington, DC, in 2012 will probably agree it was an amazing, memorable experience (despite the wet, cold weather!).

Well, it looks like Reason Rally 2 is starting to take shape.

I’m happy to announce that the Board of the Reason Rally Coalition is working on the next Reason Rally. We have a new board of experienced activists working together to make the next event even better than the first. Please watch this page for more information in the coming weeks. And get excited. #reasonrally2

I'll certainly do my best to be there again. Anyone else?

I'll be there! Depending on speaker line-up, of course.

Bump as it looks like Reason Rally 2016 is coming together and happening on June 4.

Excitement around it seems more subdued than it was four years ago, at least to me. I understand that personnel changes delayed some announcements. I'm hoping the speakers list keeps growing, though there already are some big names that will undoubtedly attract people (though I just saw that Richard Dawkins is dropping out for health reasons).

I'm still planning on being there (hotel booked for now, at least). Who else? Thoughts on the speakers and program in general? No American Atheists convention around it like last time, which may make it less appealing to some people (or more to others, I'm sure).

I'm still deciding. I went to the first one (I was able to book a client visit for that week, so I could expense it), but not the conference, because, to be honest, atheism bores me.

I have some conflicts that weekend, so we'll see.

I'm in. We made it a family trip last time and despite the rain we had a blast.
