I just finished watching the completion of the Reagan ceremonies.

The National Cathedral...
Reverend what's his name opening the ceremonies in Cali...
The Military Band playing a religious song...
The Bagpipe player doing Amazing Grace...
The Reagan Pastor finalizing the moment with a prayer "we commend his spirit"...
All the prayers, songs, speaking of the resurrection and the afterlife...

So did anybody watch? What did you think of it? Was Reagan trying to win more votes with his religious convictions --- on the way to the grave?

I have little doubt that Regan's religious convictions were genuine.

I have little doubt that he was a bad president and probably just a figurehead for 'The Administration'.

I'm sad that he's dead, in a general, 'Gosh, that's sad', way. But I wish he'd stayed an actor. He would have done a lot less damage that way.

As much as I don't care for all the pomp and ceremony and, as much as I pretty much ignored most of it (actually I'm glad he died, rather than have him continue to suffer like that), as much as I did hear, it was pretty moving. I think a lot of people have had a great admiration for the man, including myself.

What inane and repugnant drivel this is. Grow up.

Reagan was religious!? Christianity must be true! Thank you, thank you Riddick. You saved my soul.(on the floor praying).... there, now the mercyful jesus won't boil me in lava for eternity.

The Reagans believed in and openly practiced sorcery.

Ronald Reagan shall burn in eternal hellfire forever.

Remeber Reagan's AIDS debacle? For taking such "high moral ground," Reagan-supporters will no doubt forgive him, which in their mind translates into God forgiving Reagan's transgressions.
