About Alices mom still being alive. Not as shocking as when I watched the news a few nights ago and John McCain was on there giving a speech and turned to thank HIS mother who is still alive and well.

Also Cheech and sober may have been used in the same sentence, but that isn't to say he wasn't baked.

Yeah Dee was always straight edge though, Alice went out to play in the wild and when he got burned (well, when his reward system became attuned to booze) retreated back into the fold and literally had a hellfire conversion. This is kind of a tragic pattern in addiction and I admit I fell for it too, go through rehab find your higher power woo etc. Big giant pit there to fall into! Scary!
