Yeah, and the names are — as usual — not exactly what I would call uncommon.

What British or American audience would _not_ have a John, Mr. Taylor or a grandfather to connect with?

Utterly ridiculous.

I think we have talked about this before, but I would love to see a British medium work with a, for example, Italian audience in the TV studio, without telling the medium. (To be fair, all those Italians should be absolutely fluent in English, of course.)

It was a little jarring to hear Randi introduce her. It sounded like he was hosting a program promoting her.

It's also in part 1 of "James Randi Psychic Investigator" which was broadcast
on British TV about ten years ago or so (perhaps the programme is the same
but with a different title in other countries?). I got the whole set of 6
episodes from Google video a while ago.
 
Wow, I still remember seeing that program when it first came on. Made quite an impact with me, it did.

How can people believe this stuff after watching something like this? It's truly beyond me.
 
I did like the non-believer being quite stern,even though she half heartedly accepted some info.
Agreed DJM should havve whacked the guy around the head with his transcript! :)
