Questions about AE911 Truth

Just like the bottom of this page, which shows The JREF Forums came about in 2001.

Is the A&E date accurate? *shrugs*

Also at the bottom of the A&E page is a link to their "old site" - maybe that's where you can find a timeline of membership growth. I didn't click the link as my anti-virus ******** filter wouldn't let me proceed anyway.

Unless, Gage's qualifications of "architect" include anyone that has ever built a bird house before? Or built something out of LEGO bricks? :D
 
Like most "truth" sites they came into existence AFTER the US became involved in the Iraq War and only really after some French writer started writing about "the lies" of 9/11. That's not to say some people didn't have question about 9/11 but it was after an event divided the nation. The Iraq War gave the Truthers a reason for conspiracy even though they seem to forget that using 9/11 had already failed Bush on the world level so they had to fall back on WMDs. However, since the WMDs was such a failure the use the "lie" as evidence towards their 9/11 theories. Ultimately, all of their tripe, and it is tripe, falls apart because none of them have ever decided upon a one motive for the conspriacy and how it was all put together. Instead they cut the entire event in little parts, isolate them and obscure the rest of the history to make their outlandish notions "work". This way they have a working theory because nothing else matters but the few events they have isolated. Unfortunately for them though this is why they lack a large following and any credibility. When you reconstruct their disjointed ideas you have have a conspiracy that involves thousands of people, billions of dollars, and essentially leaves no government body free from blame (at any level) and also implicates virtually every press agency and thousands of bystanders in the supposed conspiracy.

Like all conspiracy it is a circle jerk where all the proof supports the theory and that which doesn't is changed or silently dropped. Conspiracy theorists seem to think this is how proof of theory works.

Gage does actually check license numbers of the people he considers "licensed professionals". This does not guarantee that some engineers' son didn't hi-jack dads account but. that's not important.

What significant is there's no minimum membership requirement. Once you sign your signed for life (and forever). If you change your mind or realize that what you signed is not exactly what you thought it was doesn't matter. Unless you contact them and request your name be removed, well you still support them. His list has no-where else to go but up.

The fact he has no plan to submit his "petition" should be a red flag to "truthers". You'd think they would want results for all the money they throw at him (Gage).

I am glad you mentioned money. One twoofer I have been "debating" with on another site had the gall to ask the question:

"Ask yourself: Who profited from 9/11?"

The only ones that I have seen ever profiting directly off 9/11 are people like David Ray Griffin and Gage. Well, I guess the press made money too but no one else they insinuate in their "theories" made money.

In a perverted sort of way you can almost envy what Gage has got. They jet him around the world, worship the ground he walks on and pay him a decent salary. What do they want in return?

And I think thats what makes him so remarkable. He really hasn't contributed anything of relevance even to the point of having nothing "published" in the intellectual masturbation session at the J.O.N.E.S.

Gage is an embarrassment to the architecture profession. His only redemption would be if he eventually admits that he actually despises truthers and has been separating them from their money for the fun of it. And even then, he's an ass.
