I did not think this fit in the science forum so it is here

The observable and the unobservable

Some of this is a bit beyond my scope to comment on, but is this just an attempt to force a co-existance of Science and Faith?

Quantum Theology: Spiritual Implications of the New Physics

Diarmuid O'Murchu

ISBN: 0824516303

Sure. I glanced at the page, but must confess I wasn't interested enough to read it carefully. Looked like the same ol' same ol'.

my brain...reeling... too many words ... not enough meaning, sorry the author lost me before the end of the first page.

Peace

The author seemed think so·te·ri·ol·o·gy n. (The theological doctrine of salvation as effected by Jesus) was under consideration.

I missed the connection he was trying to make to QM. Sorry. :(

Yet another attempt to give someone's random theological or metaphysical speculation credibility by garlanding it with physics words abused beyond all recognition. No physics here.

I tried again and got through it: this quote seems to be at the heart of it but I think that the QM is just added as a bait and switch tactic
-Again it is evident from the argument that occasionally an evil person can produce an apparent good work. He can indeed have an ulterior motive.
So a single measurement of the event will not give us the state of the person.
In the same way a saved person will also do evil.
But in the long run by repeated measurements over a period of time over a given space the result should be evident.
It is not necessarily the mistake of the measuring instrument but it is because the measuring instrument itself is built into our system.
Any attempt to present good works, as the result of evil heart is certainly a mistaken -scriptural as well as practically. -

Peace
