Never heard of the imminent physicist Hugh Everett? There's a reason for that...
There's a video now available for playing on NOVA's website concerning the life of Hugh Everett, he originator of the Many Worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics. It's an odd and quirky film, right in keeping with it's subject. Hugh Everett's son, musician Mark Everett of the Indie band EELS, barely knew his father, and being a total klutz at science and math, couldn't begin to fathom what his father was, and is becoming. It is only when he decided (in a quantum manner, as described in the film) to retrace his dad's life that he learns its significance, and forms an attachment with him, 25 years after his death. Go listen to this - you, too, can learn something, and understand the difference between Many Worlds and the Copenhagen interpretations. It is a really warm film human interest film, as well as educational.
"Note: Due to rights restrictions, this hour-long program is only available for streaming on the NOVA site for one week, from October 22 through October 28. (Thereafter it will disappear into a parallel universe.)" --NOVA
