So my Samsung S20 phone developed a fun new game: it randomly incorporates old texts going to other people into new texts I'm sending. I sent a message to a customer, and it added on four or so lines of a completely unrelated text sent to one of my kids weeks ago. Anybody else have this happen, or is it just one of those unpredictable glitchy things?

See if you can find the messaging app you use (I use handcent, if you use stock it might be something simply named messages) and clear the cache and data out of it. Depending on how important it is for you to keep old texts I guess. Should resolve the issue.

Thanks. Some are actually very important, work stuff that I need to reference. Would your solution work if I saved a bunch of convos, or is clearing nuclear? Never had to clear my stock messaging app before.

Handcent has a backup process so I can usually restore mine. I've admittedly never cleared a stock messaging app either. Sorry, G. I won't be much help there.

Could check to see if there is a backup process for your app. I would kind of be shocked if their weren't. The goal of clearing cache\data is to get whatever is stuck in the app out, so my thoughts are the clear would be for all of it.

Thanks again man. I don't see a backup, but I'll fool around with maybe downloading one to save the work convos
