This is the Ulster medium who has vowed to help find the body of murdered Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian. Co Down man Warren Coates - founder of the Northern Ireland Paranormal Research Association (NIPRA) - believes his knowledge of the "spirit world" can assist cops in their hunt for the 25-year-old. The group regularly visit haunted houses across the province and have worked with cops in Bangor. They also liaise closely with blind Ulster psychic Sharon O'Neill, who has worked on previous murder cases. It has been three months since Lisa vanished after attending a party at a caravan site in Ballyhalbert. Since then, her family have been engaged in a desperate bid to recover her body. Mr Coates, who has been interested in the paranormal world since 1991, has requested a meeting with the family. And he said he understands if Lisa's family are not interested in his offer. According to the medium, he would require a photo or one of Lisa's personal items, in an attempt to see if he can gain information which may point him to the whereabouts of her body. Said Mr Coates: "All we are doing is offering help to a family which is going through a terrible time

What a sumbag. Since she disappeared on Aruba, do you suppose she's "near water"?

Actually, this is in reference to a different missing girl case. but "near water" always seems to be a safe bet, since whether they find her in an actual body of water, in a basement near a water heater, or within a few miles of some water source (stream, lake, pond, pool, treatment plant, etc.) the "psychic" can claim a hit.

On another note, in regards to the girl missing in Aruba, I dreamt last night that I was part of the search team - about a dozen of us were bobbing around in deep water near a dock, all of us holding printouts with some sort of location info (probably lat/long); when I woke up and read cnn.com, there was a report of the FBI sending their dive team to help with the search. Wow, I must be psychic!

Oops. Assumed it was the current missing girl sensation in Aruba.

I agree with your disgust.
