Psychic Florence Sternfels

I am looking for information on the psychic Florence Sternfels (March 2, 1889 - April 1, 1965).

In the Encyclopedia of Pseudoscience: From Alien Abductions to Zone Therapy, it says on p. 282:

New Jersey's Florence Sternfels reportedly “read more people and solved more crimes than any medium who ever lived” (according to the American Psychical Institute), received many public police endorsements, and was said to correspond with England's Scotland Yard and Frances Surete.

Obviously the American Psychical Institute is not credible, I am just interested in any information on this person.

Well if she solved zero crime that would still be more (or equal) to any other medium who ever lived .

Hmmm? I think I'll become a psychic. First, though, I need to go slash the tires of the neighbor's car, then turn myself in, thereby solving the crime. I could probably get the Pattaya police to actually attest to that.

You don't need to turn yourself in...you've already forecast your involvement well in advance. Now that's some impressive psychic ability! I hope the reward for information leading to your arrest is a good one...
