Psych

Have any of you seen the show called "Psych?" I've only seen the first episode (though a friend has the others taped for me), and I think it's fantastic! He's an excellent cold-reader and is hyperaware of his surroundings due to "training" he received as a child from his detective father. The guy is an amazing actor, from what I've seen so far.

Check it out if you get the chance. It's hilarious, but it also describes how these people operate, and how they use it to their advantage. Yeah, the show is fiction, but it's definitely based in reality.

I saw it, thought it was funny and well acted, but a little too broad for me, i.e. lots of mugging for the camera and zany fish-out-of-water buddy movie formula plots. Although, I *am* avid MONK watcher (talk about broad humor) because of its extremely unique premise.

I've seen it, and I wish it were executed better. The show could be both scathing and hilarious, but it's mildly amusing and takes a vaguely skeptical view.

I guess I'm easily amused. I've got some of the other episodes now, so I'll be watching them this weekend, and I'm looking forward to it.
