Whether or not you agree with Barna's conclusions (I did not agree with them), I found the notion that pastor's see their congregations as more "spiritual" than they really are, quite interesting. Could be part of the compounding intolerance problem with the Christian population, and a contributor to so much poor Christian praxis in America. I think this also demonstrates a certain ineptitude from the pulpit to address the things that lead to real life change.
