They never hugged, dummy. Just took poison and whined a lot, stuff like that.

It is weird that they were fossilized like that. I suspect they died/were killed and were just laid together (since they were a "couple") someplace away from everything vs dying in an embrace.

I saw the Zeferelli movie...they did more than hug.
 
How do we know it wasn't Romeo and Julio? Evidences?

Perhaps, I think it will be interesting to learn if they did die this way or were buried together. They may be brother and sister, a loving couple, or maybe they just died in fright but either way it's interesting.
