Last year, I got inspired to make a couple of little websites that parody alternative medicine websites. With lab coats and help from friends, PrayerPowder.com was born, including it's dark evil twin PrayerCanceller.com. I'm the tall one with glasses.

I actually got a serious email from a lady requesting for more information about Prayer Powder because she was going through a hard time. I explained nicely that the website was a parody and gave her helpful links. I felt bad about that, so I updated the websites to direct people with serious inquiries to a QuackWatch.com page on how to spot quacky websites.

The faux testimonials are from friends and co-workers.

Oh. Oh. I just checked to see it that was not a valid domain name and found a ".com" site with a similar name that provides a similar service. Do not go there they are apostates.

Why didn't you just* rip her off? After all, the material on your site is accurate, as near as I can tell.

You mean to say that Prayer Powder^(TM) doesn't work?

Maybe you could mix it with some scented candle wax and sell it as a preventive treatment for headaches - call it "Head Off" or something equally imaginative.
