Prayer in Congress

People make a big deal about God in the pledge, but what bothers me more is how they start Congress's sessions with a prayer! Were supposed to have Sepatartion of Church n state, but here we have Congress (the virtual core of the State) sponcering a jedu-christian player on the floor of our lawmaking branch.

How does that Not viloate the Esablishment clause.?
Dont they have an official chaplian too?

Hmmm Could be mistaken but I thought they ostensibly let virtually anyone from any religion lead the prayer if they wanted to....and that was kind of their justification.

It's got to be harder than that though or the Raelians would be there in a heart beat, so...not really sure.

If a Raelian got elected to congress, it would happen as soon as requested.

I seem to recall that the US Army appointed a Wiccan chaplain some years ago. The fundies screamed about it, but to no avail.
