As if anyone needed more evidence that I don't know how to properly spend time in Las Vegas.

This is what I did Monday, 6/23, from 12mid to 3am.

Las Vegas after dark

Yay me. (The unrelated upside is that by 10pm that night, I was enjoying the company of one Marié Digby in an intimate Sacramento dive.)

Anyone else out there spend their Vegas time so foolishly?

Hi Patricio,
If you roll your pointer/cursor over an image on the SmugMug page, a pop-out menu will appear. Click the "info" icon to access the full EXIF data. It tells you everything but what I had for dinner and what Rebecca was drinking x3 at The Peppermill.

Since I was out shooting mostly handhelds at night, I set the ISO to 200 and hoped for good image stabilization with my 24-105mm IS f/4L Canon lens. I love that lens.

I've got almost the exact same shot of the Eiffel Tower, except from Tuesday night!


ETA: And from your shots of Excalibur, I just learned that there's a Vegas branch of one of my favourite places!

I'm back there in September, and now I know where I'm hanging out! Too bad it's at the other end of the Strip from the conference hotel (The Riv). Well, i guess I'll be taking the monorail a lot.....
