Mrs. Palin:

"I think my problem is that I do have the fire in my belly," said Palin. "I'm so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012."
My bolding.

Article (CNN blog entry)

Palin 2012......will be the greatest thing for Obama since Donald Trump and the long-form birth certificate.

Short of something catastrophic, I don't think that Obama has much to worry about with any of the potential GOP candidates. Palin or Pawlenty or Romney? Please...

Palin's not gonna run. She just wants a little more attention. She has already demonstrated that she has no actual interest in serving in an elected office.

But I'd love to see some potential slogans:

"Elect me because I'm best equipped to try it for a few years and see if it works out."

Agreed. She is only making sure she is in the news and keeping herself marketable.

"Well ladies and gentlemen, I don't think any of our candidates this evening have succeeded in encapsulating the intricacies needed for the office of President, so I'm going to award the nomination this evening to the girl with the biggest tits!"

I think you are right, but DO expect that this will be a very dirty election.

It's going to be a test of who can buy the most media. If you are running a radio station, life is going to be good real soon now.

Palin will only run as a last, pathetic attempt to reverse her plummeting relevancy when pretending to run doesn't work anymore.

Sure it would be entertaining and further pull the entire field towards the deep end of insanity, but I worry about the long term consequences of the wheels falling of the Republican party. How long will it be until the Republican primaries are an actual reality show on Fox at this rate?

Palin has isolated herself from the mainstream media over the last few years. I don't think she'd survive being outside facebook and fox news.

And now that Roger Ailes has been recently quoted as thinking she's an idiot she's pretty much up poop river without an outboard motor. Obviously Fox is disputing that now but really, you'd be shocked if they weren't.

Let it never be said that I can't admit I'm wrong. It looks like Palin is indeed going to toss her beret into the ring. Armed with a fresh-from-the-studio propaganda movie and a probable new center of operations, The Democrats' dream candidate looks ready to make the announcement any day now. My guess is that she's found a way to keep her campaign donations for her own bank account.

The name of the movie is, "The Undefeated."

Well, I guess one could claim that McCain lost the presidential bid. Plus everyone knows that she wasn't defeated in Alaska; she quit.
