My mom has been historically duped by a friend to purchase expensive supplements. Her friend was one of those electronic microscope woos who looked at your blood and recommended what BS supplement they could sell you. Now she has targeted my nephew (for reasons I'm uncertain but he does have low bone density, for this product....

Please show me in as scientific terms as possible how I can show my mom (who is a retired anesthetist and knowledgable about real medicine) this is woo and a waste of money (and a waste of goodwill by recommending to my nephew to take useless (if not harmful) pills.)
