Phoenix lights- ufo proof

Was watching an AI created video last night of the Pheonix lights incident, it was allegedly based on eye witnesses that had more of a close encounter with the phenomenon that night. One witness was driving a pick up truck in the film and stopped while the object passed over him very low and estimated as only thirty or forty feet above him. the depiction of the object was that of a chevron shape with several large orange glowing lights along the "wings", but very little detail of any other feature. In the message section, the actual witness driving the truck responded to the various comments made on the film detail. He said that the object was not a sharp chevron as depicted, but more of a banana shape. He then described the surface of the object as having hundreds of oval shaped indentations several feet in length, and some kind of dripping lava falling off the wing. After the object passed over there was apparently a coloured mist following behind. Finally, he emphasized what a life changing experience it was for him, and it had a long term and profound positive effect. He may not be the genuine article of course, and he could be making it all up as an attention seeker, but the detail was interesting, nevertheless.
What about you watching nonsense is relevant to this thread?

What is relevant for me at least if not for you, was the contrast between the "nonsense" video, and the witness close encounter statement. I am interested in the way witnesses to alleged stange and unexplained events describe their experiences, and the effect on them subsequently. In this particular case there is a difference too, in that the video rather under-illustrated the object.

I am also interested in hallucinations per se, as a compelling subject. My mother-in-law just prior to her impending death, saw what she described as real people in her room, dressed like Victorian characters, and then a small child who sat on her bed. She knew that they weren't real and was happy to accept rationally that they were a consequence of her condition and treatment. Many cannot think about imagined visions as an internalised phenomenon, and perhaps in the case of the truck driver, he is an example of such a person. Was I impressed with the nonsense? Not at all, but I was impressed with the content of the witness statement, real or imagined.
