Penny Higgins, Ph.D., will speak in Syracuse at the April meeting of Central New York Skeptics on 4 April 2006 at 7 PM at the Betts Branch Library. Her talk is entitled "Use and Abuse of the Fossil Record: the Matter of Transitional Forms."

Penny Higgins is a research associate in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Rochester. Her article, "Why Intelligent Design is Not Science" is featured this month on the CSICOP website <http://www.csicop.org/intelligentdesignwatch/higgins.html>.

Oops. That's not the only mistake. The talk is actually 26 April 2006. We usually meet the third Wednesday of the month, but in April and May someone booked the library before we could, so we'll be meeting the fourth Wednesday for those two months.
