Interesting reading, you can find the full report here

Worldwide, terror attacks and casualties are down. The number of US civlian casulties, however, is up (note that military casulties are excluded. In fact, it's at its highest level since 1998 (excluding, of course the 911 victims).

Interestingly though, the greatest number of terrorist attacks against US targets occured in Latin America.

Gah! What a terrible graph! With a squiggle on it to show that the bar is really higher, no less. A table of numbers would have been better.
