yes, God so loved his children he saved Pat and pounded the evil people up shore more.. The evil people always live just north of Pat.
 
I think Pat Robertson is more superstitious. And, while I don't quite agree with Falwell, he seems to be more practical and down to earth of the two.

In the bigotry world championships, I'd like to nominate our very own Ian Paisley. He makes Falwell look like a liberal.

He's not a big fan of Jews either.

Well, just to further add to what I've said, I think Robertson is more of a crony and doesn't really stand for anything. Falwell, on the other hand, actually believes what he preaches or, at least comes across that way ... And, while I'm not that conservative myself, and there's a lot of about Falwell that I don't subscribe to (it's more a matter of extreme), I think there's something to be said about that.
 
What about Pat Robertson:
Robertson made suggestions that the explosion of a nuclear weapon at State Department Headquarters would be good for the country, and repeated those comments on the air. "What we need is for somebody to place a small nuke at Foggy Bottom."

If any one of us said that, we'd be arrested for making terroristic threats against the government. Why is it that these evangelistic bastards are allowed to get away with this kind of stuff?

Because the politicians KNOW that he's off his tiny rocker.
 
I would give Robertson the edge.

Falwell, looks like he has the size advantage but I think Robertson's better conditionng would be the deciding factor.

Falwell will go for the splat move (attempt to grab your opponent and fall on him) in the early going but Robertson will be able to hold this attack off for the ten seconds or so required for Falwell to completely exhaust himself. At which time Robertson will move in and begin to pummel Falwell with his fists. This will reinvigorate Falwell as he breaks out laughing at Robertson's wimpy punches. The revived Falwell will charge Robertson and get him on the ground. Unfortunately for Falwell the five seconds of full out exertion will completely incapcitate him leaving Robertson as the default victor.
 
Sorry, they're both wimps compared to Peter Popoff. :D

But seriously, folks...

After listening to the two of them after 9/11, I'm so sickened by even thinking of them, I'm convinced that neither one should be heard at all.

And, I'll repeat what I've been saying for years: Robertson prophesied that he would be "the Next President of the United States." Since he removed himself from the race, it was a false prophecy. If all these "Christians" were truly following what they claimed they were, NO ONE would be listening to Robertson.
 
This is why I don't watch the news or political talk shows on Sunday especially after a big disaster. If I have to hear another fundy telling me that the tsunami was caused by a pissed off god or hear the spoon bender tell everyone how he predicted it would happen another TV is going to be broken. Then I would have to listen to the environmental fundy protesting outside Best Buy telling me about being a "materialist".

No way, Davefoc. Fallwell has *sheer body mass compliance* on his side. And God, of course. All he has to do is grab Robertson by those big, floppy, George Bush like ears and pull him on like a pair of pants.
