What sins do you think Part Robertson will blame gods deliverance of Issac upon the gulf?

Maybe that snookie had an out of wedlock baby.

seayakin, Robertson only blames natural disasters when they threaten people he doesn't like. This is why he claimed that wildfires in central Florida were God's punishment against Disney for being tolerant of homosexuals.

This time, Hurricane Isaac has shut down the first day of the Republican National Convention:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2012/08/25/8493bb3a-eef2-11e1-b0eb-dac6b50187ad_story.html

Republican officials abruptly announced late Saturday that they would delay their national convention until at least Tuesday afternoon because of Tropical Storm Isaac, which was expected to become a hurricane early Sunday and reach Florida later in the day.

If I was more of an internet troll, I'd be all over the tea party blogs, whinging of my struggle of whether or not to vote for a Mormon, and that the hurricane (with an obviously biblical name) seems to be a sign not to.

All of you are wrong. As Tim Tebow clearly taught us, God and Jesus are way into football. Isaac has obviously been sent to disrupt the start of LSU's football season which is slated to start on Sat. with a home game in Baton Rouge. We can therefore surmise that God is going with another team in the SEC this year, probably Auburn or 'Bama.

If God were using these storms to punish regions specifically for their behavior, you'd think it would be counter intuitive of God to give so many of these victims such a long period of time to avoid the punishment by allowing forecasters and scientists around the world to track the storm and talk about where it's going to be weeks in advance.

It's always in hindsight that people like Robertson claim victories.

My view of religion:

I think anyone who claims that my loved one died in a terrifying storm because of a god's wrath upon the perceived evil nature of some dingaling who doesn't believe in your god is ....

a poopy head who deserves to be kicked in the nuts then impaled on sharp stuff. Otherwise, have a nice day.

Pat Robertson should be put in Guantanamo for conspiring with a foreign power, Yahweh, in attacking the United States.

I briefly wondered about that myself yesterday as I passed his show while flipping channels here in the house I've evacuated to. I hope he blames the atheists. I always enjoy being part of the problem in Pat's world.

I struggled with this also.

It seemed like Isaac was disrupting the Republican convention, but how could that be when Republicans are obviously on the side of God. Obviously this was my inner atheist not allowing me to see the light.

In reality, God has been protecting Tampa from the hurricane, so more proof of God's support for the Republicans and more proof that he/she/it doesn't want Gays to marry. If God had wanted gays to marry he would have let Isaac go through Tampa.

If Pat Robertson said or says anything about it, I'm sure it would be as crude, idiotic and nonsensical as anything else he's ever said.

Would you be surprised if he blamed the hurricane on A) Obama, B) tolerance of homosexuality, C) the erosion of 'family values' in the USA, D) Democrats, E) moderate Republicans, F) Muslims, G) atheists, etc?

Of course not.
