Outsourcing Cartoon

I'm lucky to have an american built american car.. Except for the car troubles...

My Chevy Prizm is actually a Toyota Corolla under the hood. So, is it an American car or not?

The more often it breaks down, the more of an American car it is.

Hard to tell. Mitsubishi has a plant in Bloomington, IL. Or are the parts made in America, and assembled in Japan? Or vice versa?(the more likely, btw)

It is amazing that a man looking for a job goes out in his Japanese automobile, buys Arabian gasoline, wears a suit made in Bangladesh and shoes made in Korea, only to come home and 'cook' a dinner in a microwave(made in China), flop on his Futon(made in Singapore) and watch the news on his Chinese-made television, drink his French wine, and wonder where all the good, American jobs have gone.

The parts are probably German anyway.

It's only an American car if it needs expensive body work. If it needs expensive engine parts, then it's a Japanese car.

:D

Great points!

Now that the playing field has been leveled internationally, it's only a matter of time before developing countries outsource their least desireable jobs to Americans.
