I've talked to my girlfriend and she has agreed to take some of her time to read a few articles about the basics of critical thinking, skepticism, logic, fallacies and such. After which she has also agreed to read some threads on this forum and then practice these skills with real discussions, finding errors of logic and fallacies in various posts or saying why a particular post used very sound reasoning or sources.

To my knowledge she has little understanding of these concepts in actual practice and as such I would like to start with the very basics or very easy to understand reading about these skills.

I was hoping that I could get some recommendations for basic, easy to understand, online articles.

BCSkeptics has a critical thinking tutorial based on the university transfer course taught at the universities and colleges in the Lower Mainland. It has a practice exercise section, which we feel is unique for the internet.
